This is the auto biography of an artist called Stefano Papi.(http://victorian.fortunecity.com/richmond/608/) Born in Rome Italy in 1958 the 11th July in a hot summer evening on the New Appian Way. The roman sky was turning into dark blue and purple at the dusk. At that time no many cars were travelling on the roads so the Appian Way was relatively quite and silent most of the people were at the Nanni's Bar on the corner with Via Mario Menghini watching the new attraction of the year: the television, a single television set was illuminating the whole road and people were gathering at this bar from all around to watch the "lascia o raddoppia" first RAI's quiz show. "Andate a chiama' la levatrice strillava nonna Maria del Papa sul pianerottolo di quel secondo piano , mamma si contraeva dal dolore ma non piangeva ne strillava stringeva i denti e le mani sul cuscino ,nonno stava al bar appunto a guarda' la tele e papa' correva come un fringuello facendo 3 scalini alla volta da un piano all'altro a cerca la levatrice. Intanto nonna Maria asciugava o bagnava con un fazzoletto bianco la fronte umida dal sudore di mamma che non ce la faceva proprio piu' e cominciava a strilla' pure lei. Finalmente arrivava la levatrice: una donnetta sulla cinquantina capelli neri che cominciavano ad ingrigire avvolti a chignon sulla nuca, trasmetteva serenita' e calma ed una certa autorita', per fortuna , ce ne voleva proprio in tutto quel trambusto.
